In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, school will not be in session

We have been notified of an individual at our school who has tested positive for COVID-19. While the majority of VCHS staff and students are not currently on campus, notification has been made to those who have come on campus recently.
The individual who has tested positive is being monitored by our district nurse and school administration. At this time, no staff members or students at the school site have been determined to have come into close contact with the individual.

Our school district is participating in a research project with Cal State University San Marcos and the University of California San Diego to find out more about the influences of newer tobacco products like e-cigarettes and use of these newer products along with marijuana. The research project uses the California Student Tobacco Survey as the tool for gathering information.
Students in grade 10 and 12 are being asked to participate in this online anonymous survey through their Social Studies classes. Participation in this survey is voluntary. The survey can be reviewed using the link below and if you would prefer that your child not participate please complete the opt-out form linked below stating your request.

Student Photos and Yearbook Information
With the absence of Portrait day this year, the VCHS Yearbook staff is asking each 9-12 grade student to upload their own portrait photo for use in this year's yearbook. Please choose an appropriate photo from your camera roll or take one on the spot and upload it through yrbkplus.com/auth
Senior Portrait dates will be offered on site on the following dates:
Senior pictures will be held in our gym starting
January 11 through January 23rd. The times will be as follows:
January 11th and 18th from 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
January 12- 22 from 2:30 pm - 8 pm.
January 16th and January 23rd from 10 am to 4 pm.
